(North Rheged, Strathclyde, Bryneich and Elmet) lays siege to King
Hussa of Bernicia and almost exterminates the Northumbrians from Northern
Britain. Urien the leader of the northern Britons is murdered on Lindisfarne.
He was betrayed by Morgan, a leader of the Goddodin tribe from Edinburgh.
The Northumbrians recover while internal squabbles tear the British
Alliance apart. |
