WEAPONS; Deathclaw, Indoctrinator, Powersword, Disrupter Grenads, Melta Bombs ARMOUR; None WARGEAR; Deathclaw may take up to 4 wargear cards, these must be the Deathclaw, Indoctrinator, Disrupter Grenades and Psychic Hood of Tzeentch. SPECIAL RULES IMMUNITY; Deathclaw is immune to rad, hallucinogen, toxin, virus, choke, scare and photon flash grenades. PSYCHOLOGY; Deathclaw is also immune to all psychology and breaktests. FEAR; Due to the horrible visage on his mask, Deathclaw causes fear. DODGE; Deathclaw has supernatural reflexes and has a 4+ unmodifiable dodge against all attacks. The Deathclaw -
The Indoctrinator - Tzeentch, the Changer of the Ways has aided Deathclaw in his manufacture of one of his slyest weapons, the Indoctrinator. It has the power to subvert the most strong willed of individuals with ease. It has no range as such but uses the flamer template. Any model fully under must make an immediate Ld check with a -2 modifier, any models 50% under make an unmodified Ld check. If in any case the Ld check is failed, the model comes under the control of the player who owns Deathclaw. At the beginning of each of the opponents following turns, each model may make an unmodified Ld check to regain control. Once a model has recovered it cannot be Indoctrinated again. This does not affect Avatars, daemons etc. Disrupter Grenade - The disrupter grenade was originally an Imperial design from around the time of the Horus Heresy, and certain chapters of Space MArines were allowed limited usee to test it. Unfortunately,some of these chapters later turned to chaos and took examples and the knowledge of it with them. The effect it has is incredible useful, as it totally disrupts all fields with the blast area. It fell from favour with the imperial forces and was deemed Fabrus Excommunicata, after an incident involving the Head Canoness of the Order of the Ebon Chalice, the grenade she used malfunctioned and unknowingly to her negated her rosarius, and she was killed in the following battle. Disrupter grenades can are thrown as normal grenades and have a 1.5" blast, any fields under the template ar destroyed as if hit by Vindicare shield breaker ammunition. Psychic Hood of Tzeentch - Another gift bestowed upon the assassin by the Changer of the Ways is this mighty psychic hood. It really is a self-contained warp matrix that channels the power of the warp safely through to the user and enhances their psychic ability. This means the wearer has the abilities of a 3rd level psyker and cannot be affected by outside warp influences. He chooses his powers as normal, ad at least one must be a Tzeentch power, the others may be choosen from the Adeptus and Librarian decks. If any warp cards are used such as Daemonic Attack, Destroy Power etc, or powers such as Purge Psyker, they have no effect, but roll a D6 on a 5+ Deathclaw loses a randomly determined power. |
